Export sizes in Woven for each shape
Woven exports an H.264 MP4 whose short side is 1080 or 1440 pixels, and the long side follows from the canvas. Pick the canvas first.
1440p on a 4:5 or 9:16 canvas gives the exact Meta sizes. LinkedIn's maximums stop at 1080 by 1350, 1080 by 1920 and 1920 by 1080, so export those shapes at 1080p. YouTube's recommended sizes are the 1080p column. Woven has no 4K export.
| Canvas | 1080p export | 1440p export |
|---|---|---|
| 9:16 (Vertical 1080x1920) | 1080 x 1920 | 1440 x 2560 |
| 4:5 (Custom, 1080 by 1350) | 1080 x 1350 | 1440 x 1800 |
| 1:1 (Square 1080x1080) | 1080 x 1080 | 1440 x 1440 |
| 16:9 (Horizontal 1920x1080) | 1920 x 1080 | 2560 x 1440 |
Set the canvas and export in Woven
Woven builds the file on your Mac, and you upload it to the ad platform yourself. It has no 4:5 preset, so that shape uses a custom canvas of 1080 by 1350. Exports made by chat are always 1080p, so choose 1440p by hand.
Ask in chat
- Set the canvas to 1080 by 1350 for a Facebook Feed ad.
- Move the captions out of the bottom 35% of the frame.
- Make this a square ad at 30 frames per second.
Or do it by hand
- 1Pick the canvas. From the toolbar's Format menu, match the tables: Vertical 1080x1920 for 9:16, Square 1080x1080 for 1:1, Horizontal 1920x1080 for 16:9. For 4:5, choose Custom… and enter 1080 and 1350.
- 2Set the frame rate. Deselect everything to show the Settings page, then set Frame rate. Options run 24, 25, 30, 50, 60 and 120; 30 matches LinkedIn's recommendation.
- 3Clear the safe zones. For Reels, drag captions and text on the canvas below the top 14%, above the bottom 35% and inside the side margins.
- 4Choose the export size. Click Export, then pick 1080p or 1440p from the last table. Use 1080p for LinkedIn.
- 5Upload the file. The MP4 is in the exports folder of your workspace.
